You seem to be constantly on the move, Chris...where will it all end eh?

Here in madrid is now decidedly chilly, I am wearing my russian hunting hat in homage to my dear pal Putin. Strange to have two pairs of tracksuit bottoms on whilst I plan my trip to the sun kissed beaches of Sicily for mid July.

Beautiful summer day here in Quebec, it's 30C outside with a blazing summer sun

Except I'm inside enjoying the air conditioning and getting over a bad hangover....

In rome this time last week it was close to 35C...and now, madrid midday is warmer than it has been at a crisp 11C. Still, not long until Spring and then another scorching Summer.

Winter is upon us here in madrid...even my hound requires the heater and my trusty russian hunting hat has become yet again my seasonal best friend.

Talk about global warming....still no snow! I've never seen such a warm fall/beginning of winter. No snow whatsoever by christmas time is unheard of. No skiing, no skating....bah this sucks! Christmas just isn't christmas when it's 10 degrees above freezing. Atleast not for me!

Well the sky took a big ol' poo on us here. 28 inches of snow. I had the work out of my life trying to shovel my 3 car driveway. I knew it would happen eventually but damn. I really don't like snow!!

Strangely chilly all of a sudden here in madrid...which gives me reason to wear my russian hunting hat, yet I am sure the horrid heat will soon be once more upon us...as the Summer setting on the control panel has longer to run before it shifts to cooler settings...

First rather chilly day in many weeks here in madrid...still made it into the shallows for a sloth stroke in between reading more of Gore Vidal's Two Sisters...Summer is yet to depart no matter the alleged seasons, as it should be autumn. Back up to 32 for the weekend.

It’s been cool and rainy here in the Central Valley, a change from years past where we are usually pushing the mid 80s by now. A good part about all of that is it pushes the smog out and the surrounding scenery is actually quite breathtaking.
