MY SWEET HYDROPONIC BABIES.......

Post by POTSMURF » Mon Sep 13, 2010 4:26 pm

These plants are 2 weeks from a seed, only 1 week in this ebb and gro hydro system. So they are 2 weeks old total. I am using a 400watt HPS light and a Sunspot 6 hood and I have a great ballast. I am using an ebb and gro 12 pot system but I'm only using 6 pots right now due to space issues. Anyways, here are a few pics to show you what I'm workin' with. Oh yeah, one more thing....I am using all the right equipment and nutrients and all that stuff, but if anybody has any advice I am very humble and willing to learn at all times....nobody knows everything about everything....lol

Thank you very much my friends. I do hope to have a very successful grow this time around. Not just one plant that produces 1/2 an ounce dry. 4 of these plants are 100% INDICA and 2 of them are 100% SATIVA. I know the indica plants will be no problem but the sativas are supposed to be an advanced level gro for using hydroponics, which I am not. However, I am very intelligent and I pick up on things I read and see very quickly. I also learned a boatload of things by experimenting with my last grow. I wasn't so eager to get a large yield off of my first grow because that grow was more for learning and seeing what the plants like the most and what lighting schedules work best and nutrient solutions, but I'm sure you all get the drift. This time around I am using the high-tech equipment. Last grow I only used flo's. This grow I'm using 400W MH for veg. and 400W HPS for flowering. I keep my lights approx. 18-20in from the tops of my plants. I keep my temps at 78-80 lights on, and 73-75 lights off. I have my flood and drain cycle set-up for every 3 hours. I have an oscillating fan on low blowing over the tops to strengthen the plants so they can hold more weight when they get ready.YAP YAP YAP.....LOL alright, Im done yapping let me know what you'll think. PEACE, POTSMURF.

I am growing 4 Indica and 2 Swiss sativa/indica mixes. Atleast that's what I was told when I bought them...lol.

No, this is an experimental grow to see how well this ebb and gro system works. The seeds are from a seedbank but I myself did not order them. A friend of mine orders them all the time. He gave me three different kinds and these were the easier two to grow so I stuck with them to start with.

You know what Bubbles? I like hearing from you because you are straight forward and intelligent. BTW, what I was thinking of doing is alot of supercropping with half my plants to experiment a little, and yeah I'm going to grow a shitload....lol

I suggest you do LST from an early age...it'll really help bush out your plants..i would never grow a plant indoors without doing it. It that's not a training technique that interests you, then atleast do some topping which gives similar results

A scrog screen would be really awesome in the space you have, but you need clones to do that. Do you plan on taking clones?

Scrog is awesome...

I have expericence with both techniques so should be able to help ya out a bit if you are interested

Hey weedguru higher, do me a favor and let me know how I can put a video on here....if that's even possible. I made a 1 minute video giving a tour of my grow room and hydro setup. Let me know if it can be done. And yes, I am definitely interested in LST and topping. I want to learn as much as possible on this grow and I'm definitely interested in increasing my yield. Let me know something. What's the earliest I can start LST. So far my first 5 leaf set is trying to come in.

Ask me anything about growing, but don't ask me anything about technology cause I'm a bit slow in that department lol

I guess you need to use a video hosting website like You Tube or something
