newly potted 4x4 clones

Post by gaw » Tue Jan 25, 2011 2:19 pm

My veg and flowers are doing ok. Nice color green. My clones have been recently transplanted to a bigger home, a 4x4, and moved from the dome to under the 1000 halide, about30 inches and positioned off to the side of the light so they won't burn. They are a mixture of yellow, light green ang dark green.
I have other clones that have been transplanted 2 weeks ago and they are all dark green. I spray everyone every 3 or 4 days with water. is it natural for new transplanted clones to be this color at first or is there something else I should be doing. Thank you, gaw

They turn yellow because the stored nutrients in the leaves are used to grow the roots

Yellowing isnt a bad or good sign. Some clones just yellow, while others dont. Its a relatively poor indicator of plant health. As long as they arent too droopy or too dry they should be ok

Story of my life! I just did my clones as well and the lower set of leaves on almost all of them turned yellow. Some yellowed in a day or two, some took a week and they just turned a little pale
