Oh, sounds like a Canadian Dawson's Creek or Boy Meets World.

that was the absolute best show ever created when I was a kid. It was funny, entertaining, and taught REAL lessons and morals that molded the youth of society.. You actually felt like you KNEW those characters in the show by the time it was done, like you had a connection with them. NO other TV shows nowadays can do that. I miss old television, all the TV shows from the 90's were pure.

every other decade has their period of pure awesomeness in one way or another...
70's had their music
80's had their ummm...transition phase
90's had the TRUE amazing TV shows..
2000's had shit music (some amazing), cheap and horrible TV shows, (some amazing movies)
and I'm looking forward to what this decade holds, so far, we have publicized corruption, HORRIBLE music/TV shows/novels, but we also have scientific discoveries that are SKY rocketing like crazy

Spri7e I have no idea what you're talking about. TV shows are better than ever nowadays. You need to watch Breaking Bad if you don't agree.
I personally recommend checking oneself for OCD at least once every 5 minutes.

The only memorable one for me is Seinfeld

Watching those shows today makes me feel very uncomfortable for some reason. It's like some sort of suffocating "nostalgia-lite" that I can't seem to explain.

Yes it does actually.. not sure why I said they weren't in the first place. We got South park, Family guy (getting wayyy worse now though), It's always sunny in philadelphia (to this day, it's my favorite show made), Sons of Anarchy, and so much more.

Looking back, I don't agree with half of what I even said. I must have been stoned or something

Haha, a reasonable assumption on this website, although I thought you don't smoke!? Straight edge wannabe!

I think it's easy to fall into a nostalgic state about how things were when you were younger, but don't let that fool you from the truth! The present is pretty badass and continues to get more badasser!

you're right.. I wasn't high, I quit (again, after my week long hash binge from my plants) in mid October I think...I must have been drunk because I barely remember posting that. I've been almost completely sober of weed since the beginning of June besides when I had my hash, which was almost impossible not to smoke since it was so good and the abundance of it that I had.

This long sober and my memory STILL hasn't come back to it's full strength.. I guess it's from so much school and my days blending together extremely fluently. Oh and 5 years of smoking non stop every day and still drinking on the weekends.. I guess it does a LITTLE damage to the brain, but nothing that a few more months of weed sobriety won't fix for the most part. Maybe when I finish school in July I'll start smoking again... maybe. I'm going to another school almost immediately afterwards to "complete" my studies and get my bachelors and want to stay in top mental shape.

Someone should turn this tv topic into a thread of it's own...

Wow that truly is the weirdest thing... Yesterday I was browsing through some older pages in the mugshot thread when I came across a pic of MissMadness... she reminded of an actress but I couldn't remember her name or where I knew her from... Anyway I just came to this thread hoping the actress' name would come to me when the first post on the page had the answer... Dawson's Creek!

These aren't the best pictures for comparison sake but I still see it a bit... minus the hair color.
I saw on TV today, this man lost his son, his son died...
So he had him cremated, took his ashes, and then made it into a Diamond ring...
Now he watches his son shine every day.
I just thought about that, while I sit here ashing in this ashtray...
