After finally accepting that my XP installation was too fucked to continue with, I have grabbed a copy of a decent XP sp3 build, and am in the process of backing up all my valuable files, with the firm aim of soon formatting the partition, and rolling in the new xp carpet.
Does XP in its installation process naturally give an option or demand to format the intended partition of its arrival??? Or do i need to use another tool, to do this before the fresh install???
I am about to grab EASUS partiton master. Last time round I used Gparted perhaps, which worked a treat.
