Hey Flagg, I fixed your pictures for you...hope you don't mind!

When you upload them with imageshack, choose the option to resize them too 640x480(message boards) and then post up the Direct Link here between like Bubbles said.

Lovely looking girls!

What strain is that?

That leaf cupping is definately not normal (they call it taco leaves)...gonna need to know a few more things to help you diagnose it though

What is the temperature in your box?

What have you been feeding them? How much and at what frequency?

Do you have any discolorations on the leaves?

Are the leaves brittle?

Thanks mate .. 2 of them are Jack Herer and the other afghani gold .. the seeds got mixed up so havent a clue which is which until the flower i suppose

That leaf curling is there from nearly the start .. had a look on internet and few books but noone has a deffinate idea what causes it.

Temps are around 82 lights on to about 75 off .. shitty weather in uk

First feed was 2 days ago .. the soil they are in had all the nutes ( listed on bag ) until then .. i think .. i just guessed they might need it now .. i have the tent open if its warm day and have a chat with them.

Only a few brown spots on about 3 leaves.

The leaves arent briitle just feel wrinkly.

If you just fed them for the first time 2 days ago then you are most likely looking at a nutrient deficiency. I'm pretty sure they are lacking magnesium. I had plants with the exact same taco leaves and it turned out to be that. Mine were already on a regular feeding schedule so I added epsom salts to increase the magnesium levels. You may also need to do that. Epsom salt can be bought for a few dollars at the pharmacy. You need to correct that problem as soon as possible

What kind of nutes did you just give them exactly?

Nothing apart from what was in the soil .. i gave them half the recommended miracle gro 2 days ago but the leaf turn was there from the start .. il be getting epsom salts tomorrow to see if it helps .. thanks mate

Here's a magnesium deficient plant...from what I can tell your plants leaves are cupping like these..right?

Image

The spots you say are one the leaves, would you describe them as being rust brown necrotic spots like these below?

Image

The correct epsom salt dosage is 1 tablespoon Epsom salts/gallon of water

I would recommend flushing the plant beforehand just in case you have a nutrient lockup issue...

Possible causes of Mg deficiency

Magnesium deficiencies in cannabis occur more often relative to other deficiencies. Magnesium deficiency in the root environment can also occur when magnesium levels are normal or high as well as when there is a deficiency. This is because absorption can be slowed down by all sorts of circumstances.

Some of these are:

* A very wet, cold and/or acidic root environment.

* High levels of potassium, ammonium and/or calcium (for example a lot of lime in the tap water or lime rich, clay ground) compared with the magnesium levels.

* Limited root system and a heavy load on the plants.

* High EC in the medium, inhibited evaporation.

They look like them spots on last pic .. but only two or three spots per leaf .. im sure it could be because of that one (A very wet, cold and/or acidic root environment ) because they strtched so much i noticed soil in pots was cold not getting heat from the lamp

What size pots are those? As in how many gallons? If you don't know, what is the height and width of the pots? If they are rootbound that will cause unwanted stretching.

Must check size of pots , but you could be right about rootbound because the previous pots were 4 pints plastic milk bottlesw cut in half ( its only on this site that someone said dont grow in clear pots ) il know better now for next time.

They should have had plenty of light from your 250 watt unless the light was too far away

Did you just recently repot them? Cause if so, the stretching would definately be because they were rootbound. From the way I can tell the pots in the pics(atleast the 2 big ones) are large enough.

I grew three plants in 3 gallon buckets under a 250watt at one point

You want to have 1 gallon of soil per foot of plant height

You might want to think about transplanting that middle plant into something larger

If you wanna grow a 5 footer, then you need atleast a 5 gallon pot..

Roots don't like light, that's why you don't wanna use clear pots

Yesthe three pots are that size.

the lamp and shade are only about 14 inch long .. it never seems to be enough because they are allways bending towards it .. how far did you have the 250 or how close to the plants ?
