Favorite song?

Post by SpRi7e » Sat Sep 10, 2011 3:31 am

What is everyones favorite songs? I know we have a lot of favorite type stuff, and least favorites... but what is that one song that truly captures you and has stuck with you even after listening to it a 100 times? Post the song up here too.

For me, my favorite song is Eminem - Lose yourself ... it's one of those songs I listen to before I'm about to do something big and get nervous with. It just puts that vibe in to me that I can always go back and remember all the things I've pushed myself to do that I never though I could after listening to this song.

Peace Not Greed.

^Good song. I'm partial to "tIl I collapse" myself. Good end of a workout song.

Oh boy... Music takes up about half of my life... This is quite an impossible task... But I'll do something anyway...
Just like everyone else would invariably say, It's hard to choose a single song... Especially since no one will be familiar with the song I pick... But since I must, I'll choose my favorite song that I think most WGs will recognize... Which would probably like my 100th favorite overallish.... + a real contender for #1, even though no one will listen to it anyway.

Possibly my favorite song... "The Odyssey" - Symphony X... It's 24 minutes long so I wont subject you to it, atm...

Very difficult, but

Though lately I've found myself listening to more old-school stuff.

"Reckoner" is still my all-time favourite, after positively (and drastically) influencing psychedelic experiences in ways I can't even begin to explain. This is an extremely unique song in that it doesn't seem to be influenced by anything other than the band themselves. It certainly doesn't sound like anything I've ever heard.

One of Radioheads better tunes imo... And I'm def not a radio head fan but that song... I'd be happy if it came on the radio... That's what she said... Anyway, I fucking love that Vincent de Moor track. I can't imagine what I'd be like while rolling... wow... I'd cry. Or vomit out of pure bliss, I don't know.

So, I've decided to change my entry. This shit right here nikka...

I can dig it.

Dude...it was beyond epic. A huge rollercoaster of emotions..but mostly bliss. Imagine what it'd feel like if your whole body was vibrating. So immense...damn I miss it.

I used to listen more to the remix with phill collins in it so I could honestly say it's either the original or remix... But without further ado this is probably my favorite song of all time.

I won't ever get sick of it.
I saw on TV today, this man lost his son, his son died...
So he had him cremated, took his ashes, and then made it into a Diamond ring...
Now he watches his son shine every day.
I just thought about that, while I sit here ashing in this ashtray...

I have of late reacquainted myself with my beloved Manu Chao...and THIS song has retained not just all of its value, but seems even better after a break. It inspires sensations fit for an andalusian carnival, on the beach, dancing with my paws in the shallows...I need to head back to europe, but until such a move can be forged in stone, I will make do with Papito...

I can't believe this..you're all forgetting one song that up kills them all, fade to black by Metallica.

Obviously, to me, there's more than one. System of a down, scarface, Wu tang, kReaToR, etc.
